Rally

Rally riding is one of the toughest and more extreme disciplines of motorcycle sport. Bold and adventurous competitors spend long hours on the bike in hostile terrain, negotiating the ground at speed while navigating their course. The most celebrated of the international events has to be the Dakar Rally held every January, a fearsome challenge for riders and machines and eagerly anticipated by sports fans globally.

Of course, where there’s such a challenge you will find Husqvarna Motorcycles, which has consolidated its position as a dominant force in all offroad racing activities since the introduction of the global Husqvarna Factory Racing team in 2015.

Luciano Benavides

Bio Luciano Benavides originally held the highest finishing position of any Argentinian rider at the Dakar Rally when he finished 6^th in 2020. In 2023, Luciano made a step forwards in his career after finishing 6^thby winning stages six, nine and eleven – winning more stages than any other rider. Fast forward to the end of the 2023 season and Luciano was crowned the 2023 FIM World Rally-Raid Champion.
