NEW COMPONENTS AND TECHNICAL REFINEMENTS TAKE PURE SUPERMOTO PERFORMANCE TO A HIGHER LEVEL   Husqvarna Mobility is excited to reveal its stunning FS 450 for 2025. Enhanced with multiple revisions for the new model year, the highly capable short circuit racer continues to set the benchmark for pure supermoto performance. New WP XACT Closed Cartridge forks, radiator shrouds, smaller footrests, together with an updated frame and ergonomics, boost rideability and take the on-track experience to an unprecedented level. The FS 450 is the supermoto model of choice for all serious competitors. Assembled with competition focused components, the introduction of WP XACT Closed Cartridge front forks and a refined frame for 2025 combine to enhance the overall handling and balance of the agile machine, especially when approaching corners. Confidence when drifting into and out of every turn is also assured as the new, slightly smaller footrests reduce the risk of them scraping the asphalt. Further improvements include the refined ergonomics as new radiator shrouds and a 5 mm higher and wider seat profile – at its lowest point – ensure riders stay planted in position under hard acceleration. The final enhancement made to this popular supermoto machine are the Swedish-inspired graphics that create a fresh new look for 2025. The FS 450 retains its proven 450 cc SOHC 4-stroke engine for 2025. Producing a smooth and strong power delivery, the engine characteristics can be fine-tuned and personalised thanks to multiple electronic rider aids including Launch Control, Traction Control, a Quickshifter, and two engine maps. Each function can be easily activated or deactivated, even while riding, by using the handlebar-mounted Map Select Switch. Highlighting the build quality of the FS 450 is its long list of race-tested hardware. Alpina wheels are fitted with Metzeler Racetec SM K1 tyres with the front wheel featuring a 310 mm disc made by Braking. A Brembo clutch system delivers exceptional performance in combination with the Suter anti-hopping clutch while ProTaper handlebars and ODI grips add comfort and style to this high performance supermoto machine.   Technical highlights

Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing Shines At Lombok Scorcher: Coenen Wins While De Wolf Leads

    Ver Perfil
The 2024 FIM World Motocross Championship roared back into action on the picturesque island of Lombok in Indonesia on the 7th of July, for round 12, and what formed the second half of the fly away portion of the 2024 MXGP and MX2 season. Better yet, as the temperatures peaked into the high 30s (°C), so too did the results for the Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing Team. Last time out Kay de Wolf scored 1-1, to secure a perfect result to reaffirm his place at the top of the MX2 standings. This time, however Lucas Coenen used his FC250 to maximum effect on the reversed 1640m hard pack Selaparang circuit to strike back against his team mate, and also score a 1-1 winning result. After securing his fourth RAM qualifying win, Coenen rolled into Sunday in dominant form. During the opening moto Coenen quickly battled to the front from the gate drop, overtaking his teammate by the end of the first lap and steadily increasing his lead to a commanding 9.4 seconds by lap eight. Maintaining control throughout, Coenen finished first to net a full 25-point haul. In the second moto, Coenen again took the lead early, extending his advantage to 12.9 seconds by lap eight this time, and took the chequered flag unchallenged; securing a 1-1 victory and the overall win for the weekend. Meanwhile Kay De Wolf showed superb speed and style despite finishing just off the podium in fifth position. The current Red Plate holder fought hard to move up to third from the gate drop of the opening moto briefly holding second place before a setback dropped him to 3rd at the finish. Moto two saw De Wolf back at the sharp end, battling for top positions early on. However a crash on lap nine pushed him to 6th; where he remained until the final flag. Despite the challenges, De Wolf still finishes the weekend in control of the championship standings.
In MXGP Mattia Guadagnini made further positive steps on and off track, securing another top ten finish. After a 12th place qualifying race finish, Guadagnini made a solid start to Sunday, battling to eighth position in the day’s 17 lap opening moto. The Italian kicked it up a gear further for the second moto, where he rocketed up to third place after the gate drop. Unfortunately a crash on lap two dropped him to 7th, and by lap five, he had fallen to 15th. Guadagnini managed to climb back to 14th by lap 10 and made up two more places to finish 12th, securing nine points. Overall, Guadagnini finished 10th for the weekend with a total of 22 points, moving up a place in the championship standings.
Next up, the Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Team now takes aim at round thirteen, hosted at the MXGP of Czech Republic on the technical Loket circuit on July 20/21.
#101 - Mattia Guadagnini: “Despite the challenges, I'm proud of the progress we made this weekend and securing another top ten finish. The first race went well, and although the crash in the second moto was frustrating, I managed to fight back and make up several places. Crashes are part of racing, but I'm focused on building speed and aiming for even better results in the next one at Loket.”
#74 - Kay de Wolf: “It was a tough day - I really struggled with finding a good flow out on track. I made some mistakes, which I can only blame myself for. But still, I came away from this Indonesian trip with gaining one point overall in the championship; so it’s important to focus on the positive. I still have the Red Plate, and I’m looking ahead to Loket now; and I’m focused on two weeks of hard training to prepare for this. Let’s go!” #96 - Lucas Coenen: “The second moto was way easier than the first moto. The temperatures have been really high - and I felt like people were really suffering with it. I cooled down pretty well in the break between the two races. I just tried to do my own thing in the second moto, pushing where I needed to, but trying to control the pace. I feel really good about this result, and I’m looking forward to keeping on going at this level!” Results - 2024 FIM Motocross World Championship, Round Twelve: MXGP – Overall:

Husqvarna Mobility excited to reveal new generation TC 85 for 2025

    Ver Perfil
New frame, improved engine, and multiple technical updates transform the popular small capacity machine   For 2025, Husqvarna Mobility is pleased to announce a new generation TC 85 to underline its continued development of high-performance, 2-stroke minicycles. The competition-focused machine is now built around an all-new chassis that offers significant improvements to handling and stability, while an updated engine boosts bottom to mid-range power. Further components introduced to improve the on-track experience for all young riders include the new WP shock, swingarm, and ergonomic bodywork. Rounding out the changes, new graphics to match the full-size models create a modern and unified look for the class-leading TC 85. With the previous generation model raced to victory in the 2023 FIM Junior Motocross World Championship, the new TC 85 is built upon proven foundations and beautifully crafted. For 2025, a new frame with refined geometry considerably improves handling and stability. Mirroring the construction of the full-size machines, the new WP XACT shock, which is 16 mm shorter than before to ensure a more balanced chassis, is mounted onto the upper frame tube. This design creates a more planted feel for the TC 85 and is a huge benefit on rough tracks and big jumps. Additionally, the steering head angle is reduced by a half degree and positioned 6 mm closer to the centre of the chassis for enhanced cornering, especially when exiting turns. The 85 cc 2-stroke engine benefits from several new components, all introduced to create stronger power in the low to mid-range without sacrificing top-end performance. The updates include a new cylinder head, spark plug, ignition, and exhaust, with the settings inside the Keihin carburettor adjusted to suit the improved engine. Finally, when compared to the outgoing generation, the engine is rotated three degrees upwards at the front, and by pivoting from the same mounting point at the swingarm, the weight is distributed more effectively for improved cornering and jumping. The swingarm itself is new and 300 g lighter thanks to a refined casting process. Together, the new frame, WP XACT shock, and swingarm combine to reduce the overall height of the TC 85. These changes, introduced alongside new ergonomic bodywork, ensure young riders can move around on the TC 85 much more easily, which inspires confidence and allows them to compete with improved control. In addition, a modernised rider triangle created by the new footrests, handlebars, and lower seat further enhances the riding experience and makes the new generation model incredibly effortless to ride.

    Biker on a diaper

By Kenneth Olausson The epidemic moped flue in the 1950s resulted in big sales volumes for Husqvarna. By 1954, the Swedes had sold 25,000 units. Mind you, the first batch of the Novolette was a mere transporter and did not appeal to youngsters. Hence, the marketing folks came up with the idea to flirt with the up-and-coming generation to boost turnover. And what better way was there than appealing to those representing the future? Manufactured in red and silver, this frightful beast had the ability to do 30 km/h. That was the law, and it gave every young man - no, there weren't any females owning this wonder machine - an incentive to circumvent the rules and tune the power source into oblivion. Meaning the "Blöjpilen" would do speeds up to 40 km/h, occasionally 45 km/h.

    Catch of the year

By Kenneth Olausson On a murky autumn day in 1980, a Swedish photographer made a highly unusual discovery. Getting rid of his waste in a nearby recycling area, Ludde De Geer found a huge batch of photos in the form of old glass-negatives. It took him 25 years and some new technology to save his ‘catch of the year’. Among the shots was an epic Christmas show Husqvarna photograph from 1934…
